Neon Drift League
★★★★★ 4.5
Neon Drift League is pure arcade joy. You drift through neon city circuits, chaining slides for boost, and it never pretends to be a simulation. The handling is loose and forgiving, which is exactly what you want when you're steering with your thumbs on a train.
You get three control schemes: tilt, touch buttons, and a hybrid. We ended up preferring touch for precision, but the tilt option is well-tuned and has a sensitivity slider. The game runs smooth on both our test phones, though it heats up during longer sessions.
The track design is the star. Every circuit has a rhythm to it, and once you learn where the long drifts hide, chasing a better time becomes addictive. There's a photo mode too, which is silly and delightful.
